Elcock Eyes Up English Title Bid

Ex-British middleweight champion Wayne Elcock believes that his next option is a bid for the English middleweight title, as he waits for a return to the ring.

The 36 year old brummie has been out of action for fourteen months since losing to Mathew Macklin. He lost his crown in March 2009 and had his chance to reclaim the title last november, against Darren Baker, foiled by illness.

Elcock has no plans of retiring, telling BBC WM 'I've not hung up the gloves and I don't want to.'
